4.18.2 Alarm Empty Pipe
Entry from table
Select the "On/Off" position using the STEP or DATA key and
accept by pressing ENTER. When the empty pipe alarm
function is turned on, the system alarm is activated during an
empty pipe condition. When the pipe is empty the error
messages "Empty Pipe" and "Error 0" are displayed.

4.18.3 Iout at Empty Pipe
Entry from table
When the empty pipe detector and the alarm are turned on and
the pipe is empty, the current output is set to 0, 2/4 mA or 3.8
mA and pulse totalization is halted. Flowrate > 130 % sets the
current output to 26 mA and the totalization continues.The
alarm output is activated and the messages "Empty Pipe" and
"Error 0" are displayed.
The desired current output value to be set for an empty pipe
condition can be selected using the STEP or DATA keys and
accepted by pressing ENTER.

4.18.4 Threshold
Numeric entry
The threshold value must be set to 2300 Hz using the ARROW
keys and accepted by pressing ENTER.

4.18.5 Adjust Empty Pipe Detector
Entry from table
The converter displays its adjustment value in the 2nd line. The
pipeline must be full. Use the ARROW keys to adjust the value
to 2000 Hz ± 25 Hz. Accept this value by pressing ENTER.
Empty the pipeline. The adjustment value must increase above
2300 Hz (Threshold).

Note:
To assure proper operation of the function "Empty Pipe
Detector" the fluid conductivity must be at least
20 µS/cm and the minimum meter size 3/8" [DN 10].

4.19.1 Reset Totalizer and Overflow Values Forward
and Reverse, Preset Totalizer
Numeric entries/Entries from table
The totalizer and overflow values can be reset independently
for each flow direction, forward and reverse, by pressing
ENTER. The overflow counter (if any overflows have been
registered) is cleared first. Pressing ENTER once more clears
the totalizer value. If the totalizer has overflowed the forward or
reverse direction indicators and the units in the process display
blink. The internal totalizer can overflow up to 250 times
software wise. At each overflow (totalizer value > 9,999,999
units) the totalizer value is reset and the overflow counter
incremented by one. If more than 250 overflows have been
registered the message "Overflows > 250" is displayed.
