select an additional value to be displayed in the 1st line in a
multiplex mode. The values alternate automatically in a
10 second cycle.

4.21 Submenu Operating Mode

The STEP or DATA keys can be used to select one of two
available operating modes, Standard/Fast, as well as the flow
direction and the flow direction indication.
4.21.1 Operating Modes Standard/Fast
Entry from table
The operating mode "Standard" is used for continuous flow
metering.
The operating mode "Fast" is used for short time batch
operations > 3 s and for piston pump operation when the
converter incorporates a higher excitation frequency capability.
In this operating mode the improved reproducibility for short
time batch and piston pump applications is achieved by
accelerated signal measurements.

4.21.2 Flow Direction (Forward and Reverse)

After pressing ENTER the STEP or DATA keys can be used to
select forward and reverse metering or forward metering only.
If forward is selected, then the flowmeter measures only when
the flow is in the forward direction. The totalizer values are the
integrated flow are for this direction. The reverse flow is not
measured or totalized. There are no reverse pulses available
on terminals V8, V9, or Ux/V8.
