11 Maintenance

Attention: Warranty claims will only be accepted if maintenance has

11.1 Operation and Maintenance Summary

When starting operation:
Turn on steam supply
Turn on room ventilation system
Turn on cooling water supply
Turn on compressed air supply
Open condensate valve
Turn on machine main switch
Start deodorizing program P34, press
"STOP" button when program ends and
signal sounds
When stopping operation:
Start maintenance program P39 or P40
when economy filter at 1.50 bar (21.8 psi)
pressure (at least every 50 cycles)
Start distillation maintenance P36 and
wait for signal
Turn off machine main switch
Turn off steam supply
Close condensate valve
Turn off cooling water supply
Turn off compressed air supply cooling
compressor
Turn off room ventilation system or
switch to night operation
Inspection and maintenance work:
Daily: (before starting the first cycle)
Check machine for leaks
Check solvent safety trough for solvent
If necessary, add neutralization agent to

Clean button trap strainer and lint filter

Drain water separator water fore-

Start drum back plate flushing P43
Clean lint filter mat
Drain water from compressed air armature
Clean the sprayer dirt strainers and spray
nozzles
Check the function of the disposal vessel
overfill sensor
Empty condenser
Start clean tank maintenance prog. P63
Check pH level (7 –9 indicates good
solvent condition)
Check solvent levels in the tanks
Clean strainers in water and steam
feeders
Lubricate cage bearing
Lubricate fan shaft seal
Clean air cooler, post-filter
Clean tanks
Check V-belt tension, retension
Retighten screwed unions
Machine inspection (according to VBG 66)
Check sacrificial anode, replace if needed
Remove filter discs and clean in machine
(program P6)
Check Slimsorba activated carbon
Close the loading door and
maintenance openings again

Use only lithium-based lubricating
greases, such as:
- ALVANIA 3 (SHELL) - MARSON L2 (FINA)
- BEACON 2 (ESSO)
