4. 45°: Slide the footplate back to its
normal position at the fixed setting
and tighten the screw.

Setting the pendulum action

The adjustable pendulum motion can be adapted to the workpiece material being
sawed. Turn the selector (3) to the desired setting.
Position 0: Sheet metal, steel, hard plastic and rubber (no pendulum)
Position I: Non-ferrous metals, hardwood, hard plastic
Position II: Wood
Position III: Wood (widest pendulum motion for greatest stock removal)
Splinter guard
The splinter guard (14) helps prevent the surface of the material (especially wood)
splintering when it is being sawed. The splinter guard must only be used when
the footplate angle is set to 0°. The splinter guard is fitted by pressing it into
the footplate from below.

Battery and charger

Note: Both the battery and charger are sold separately.
The charge indicator on the battery
Note: The indicator only gives a general picture of the battery charge status.
The percentages shown below should therefore only be considered as approximate.
• Press the button to the right of the battery
indicator to display the current battery status.
• At full, 100 % charge, all three LEDs shine.
At 90 % charge, one LED goes out and two
LEDs shine. At 25 % charge, another LED
goes out and only one LED shines. If none
of the LEDs shines, the battery is completely
discharged and needs charging.
