Charging
Charging temperature: 5–40 °C.
1. Connect the charger to a wall socket. The green LED will come on.
2. Slide the battery into the charger.
The green LED will go out and the red
LED will come on whilst the battery is
being charged.
3. When the battery has been fully charged,
the green LED will come on.
4. Remove the battery from the charger and
disconnect the charger from the mains
once the battery is fully charged.
• The charging time is approx 40 min for the 2.0 Ah battery and approx 90 min for
the 4.0 Ah battery.
• The battery may become hot whilst it is being charged. This is completely normal.
• The battery and charger function best at normal room temperature. Do not charge
the battery in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 5 °C. The temperature range
for charging is 5−40 °C.
• When the battery becomes discharged, the electronics of the battery will turn
the jigsaw off automatically.
• For long-term storage (months) the battery should first be fully charged.
Charging error indications
• The red LED flashes: Defective battery, change the battery.
• The green LED flashes: Battery too hot or too cold to charge. Let the battery reach
normal room temperature before charging.

Attaching/detaching the battery

1. Slide the power trigger lock (1) to the left
to lock the power trigger. This is to prevent
the jigsaw from starting accidentally when
the battery is being installed.
2. Slide the battery onto the battery connection
of the tool until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the battery, press down
the battery release button and slide
the battery off the tool.
