2.2 Possible dangers at the installation
location
WARNING
The
thermostatic
pipework may get very hot during
operation and may lead to bad scald-
ing. Wear safety gloves or inactivate
the heating system before work com-
mences
The case of an external fire has not been
taken into consideration when constructing
the thermostat.
3 Transport, packaging
and storage
3.1 Transport inspection
Upon receipt check delivery for any dam-
ages caused during transit.
Any damages must be reported immedi-
ately upon receipt.
3.2 Storage
The thermostat "Uni LHB" must only be
stored under the following conditions:
• Do not store in open air, keep dry and
free from dust.
• Do not expose to aggressive fluids or
heat sources.
• Protect the thermostat from direct sun-
light.
• Storage temperature: -10°C up to +50°C,
max. relative humidity of air: 95 %
ATTENTION
Please protect thermostat against
external forces (e.g. impacts, vibra-
tions etc.).

5 Installation

NOTE
We recommend having the thermostat
installed by a specialised company.
WARNING

the thermostat
ATTENTION
To avoid damage to the thermostat, it
must only be mounted once all build-
ing work has been completed
1. Using a suitable tool (e.g. small screw-
driver), pull out front cover disc through
the opening at the handwheel.

2. Using the setting key (item no. 1011497),
turn thermostat anticlockwise until stop
("5") through the front bore.
