2. Fan part
Remove the fan cover before disassembling the fan part.
- Disassembly: Insert a screwdriver (approx. 8 mm) between a click connection of
the fan part and the fan casing and move the fan part upwards slightly (see Fig. 1).
The click connection will detach itself. Loosen the other click connections using a
screwdriver and remove the fan part upright from the fan casing.
- Assembly: Hold the fan part directly above the fan casing so that the cable outlet
is located directly above a recess. Insert the fan part as upright as possible into the
casing and press until it clicks into place.
3. Control board
The control board is located on the upper side of the fan part. Therefore, remove
the fan cover first before disassembling the control board.
- Disassembly: Press a click connection to one side of the control board using a
screwdriver and pull the board up slightly at the same time (see Fig. 2). Then loosen
the other click connections. Remove the board from the fan part and disconnect
the connections.

3.6 Fault causes

– If the thermal protection trips this could be the result of contamination, a hard
running impeller and/or bearing. A winding temperature that is too high due to
insufficient motor cooling or an air flow temperature that is too high could be the
cause of the fault.
– Abnormal noises can mean worn out bearings.
– Vibrations can originate from an unbalanced or dirty impeller or due to the
installation.
– Extreme performance reduction can occur if the fan must work above the load
transfer point. (associated with higher sound level). This is due to a lack of
additional supply air flow or a system resistance that is too high.
