Function Table Function Table Function Description To copy source DOM to multiple target DOMs. Refer to function “6.1 1. Copy Copy Area” for 3 different copy mode selection. 2. Compare To compare data bit for bit between source and copied DOMs. It makes copy first and then compare copied DOM with source 3.

Function Table 6.1.1 System and files Set to copy source HDD’s data area only. 6.1.2 ALL partition 6.1 Copy Area Set to copy source HDD’s all partitions. Setup copy mode. 6.1.3 Whole HDD Set to copy the whole source HDD. 6.2 Skip Error Set the error volume of source DOM that you want to ignore while copying.
Function Introduction Function Introduction 1.Copy It copies data from source DOM to target DOM. Please make sure you have chosen the correct copy mode you would like to use. About the three copy modes, please refer to function [6.1 Copy Area] for details. DOM Duplicator 1.Copy The default setting of [6.1 Copy Area] is “System and Files”.
Function Introduction c. When finishing copying, the copied result will be showed on the LCD. Quantity of copy pass Quantity of copy fail Pass: 2 Fail: 0 Time 19:19 Total copied time 2.Compare This function is used to check the correctness of the copying result. After finishing copying, go to function 2 and press OK to start executing comparing process.
Function Introduction 4.1 Quick Erase The function will ONLY erase the index of the DOM, which is the quickest way to erase it. Quick Erase will damage the data in DOM, please make sure you have backup all important data before using this function. 4.2 Full Erase The function will erase the whole sectors on the target DOM.
Function Introduction 4.4 DoD Erase Comp Besides DoD erase, this function will also execute compare function to make sure the random bit was correctly written. This way of erase i s t o e r a s e D O M o v e r e a c h s e c t o r t h r e e t i m e s : t h e f i r s t t i m e w i t h z e ros (0x00), second time with 0xFF and the third time with r a n d o m c h a r a c t e r s .
Function Introduction 5.2 Update System This function is used to update the system firmware. Please follow the following steps to execute “Update System”. a. Select function [5.2.2 Create Update HDD]. [Update System] 2.Create Update HDD b. Format DOM.(Create a 2GB FAT partition) Do FORMAT HDD#1 Confirm ? The purpose of formatting DOM before updating system...
Function Introduction 6.Setup 6.1 Copy Area 6.1.1 System and Files It will copy source DOM’s System and Files instead of the whole HDD. The system will analyze the source HDD and identify the data area to copy. As long as the source DOM’s data within the target HDD’s space, the copy will be processed.
Function Introduction When choosing “All Partitions Copy”,only 120G data will be copied, and it just takes 37.5% time compared to “Whole HDD Copy’. The target HDD will be exactly the same as source HDD after copy. 6.1.3 Whole HDD This mode will copy the entire HDD, regardless of the content, format, partition, or free space, and it will take much more time to duplicate the source DOM completely.
Function Introduction 6.2 Skip Error This function can set the number of errors you would like to skip during the copying process. [Skip Error] If the DOM is very critical for content correctness, it is strongly recommended to keep the Skip Error to be “0”. 6.3 Erase Master This function is used to set if erasing the source DOM or not.
Function Introduction 6.4.2 Skip Unknown This setting is to skip the unknown area that the system can’t identify its format during the copying process. [Unknown Format] Skip Unknown 6.5 Transfer Rate You can select the best transfer rate from UDMA 2 to UDMA 4 for your DOM duplication progress.
Function Introduction 6.7 Language This setting is to set the system’s language interface. [Language] English 6.8 Restore Default This setting is to go back to the manufacturer’s default setting.
