Transferring Calls

You can transfer calls on the
to Handset, or Handset to Base.
Blind Transfer
You can directly transfer any active call to another
without notification by doing the following steps:
From the Handset:
Press the joystick in then press joystick
Press the joystick in again for confirmation.
The ringing Handset or Base can pick up the transferred call just like any
incoming call.
From the Base:
Press INTERCOM or XFER softkey. Scroll to the desired destination, then
press OK.
The ringing Handset can pick up the transferred call just like any incoming call.
Announced Transfer
You can perform an announced transfer (call and advise another extension)
of an active call by doing the following steps:
From the Handset:
Press HOLD to place your call on hold.
Press the joystick in any direction then press joystick
the joystick in again to confirm.
-OR-
Press the joystick in any direction then press the dialing key 1.
Press joystick
To confirm, press the joystick in again.
When the ringing Handset or Base answers, announce that there's an active
call on hold.
Press OFF (on the Handset) or INTERCOM (on the Base).
Press ON (on the destination Handset) or SPEAKERPHONE (on the
destination Base) to pick up the call on hold.
From the Base:
Press HOLD to place your call on hold.
Press INTERCOM.
Scroll to the desired destination, then press OK.
When the ringing Handset answers, announce that there's an active call on hold.
Press INTERCOM (on the Base) or press OFF (on the Handset).
Press ON (on the destination Handset ) to pick up the call on hold.
