Connecting the supplied antennas

antenna AM loop antenna
The suppliedantennas providea simple way to listen to
AMand FMradio. If you find that receptionqualib, is

FM wire antenna
Connect the FM wire antenna to the FM
UNBAL 75£1 terminals in the same way as
the AM loop antenna.
For best results,extend lhe FMauleuua fully m_dfix 1o
a wall or door frane. Don't
drapeloosely
or leavecoiled
up.
Note
The sigual earth (rb) is desigued to reduce noise that
occurs wheu au autenua is conuected. It is uot m_
electrical s_'eb, earth.

AM loop antenna
Pull off the protective shields of both AM
antenna wires.
Press the antenna terminal tabs to open
and insert one wire into each terminal.
Release the tabs to secure the AM an-
tenna wires.
Bend the stand in the direction indicated
by the arrow.
Clip the loop onto the stand.
Place the AM antenna on a fiat surface
and point in the direction giving the best
reception.
Avoidplacing neat' computers, televisionsets or other
electrical appliauces and do not let it come into contact
with metal objects.
Connecting external antennas
External AM antenna
Use5-6 meters ( 15-18 ft.) of vinylqnsulaled wire and
set up either indoors or outdoors. Leavethe suppliedAM
loop alleuua COlmected.
