Ideally,your listening position should be equidistant
from the surround speakers.

Set the volume to a moderate level.
Press TEST TONE
(SHIFT
& CH
LEVEL) to
start the
test tone then
adjust the
volume
to a suitable level.
The testtone playsthrough each speaker in turn:
• Fmnt left
• Center
• Front right
• Surround right
• Surmund left
• Subwoofer
Use the • and • buttons to adjust the
level of
a
speaker as the test tone plays.
For bestresults, sit in your main listening
position
when
doing this. You can adjust each speaker in the rmlge of
+/-10dB.
When you're done, press TEST TONE
(SHIFT & CH LEVEL) to turn off the test
tone.
