3.14 Access to the backup pump

The backup pump enables to empty the hopper or the
tipper when you cannot empty it using the control panel
Attention!
!
Before lifting the hopper / tipper, align
the cab and the rear of the vehicle.
1. Unlock the left door of the radiator, using the Allen key
supplied with the vehicle, unscrew the two bolts and then
remove the left door of the radiator. (Picture 1)
2. Take the operating lever of the pump. (Picture 2)
3. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the pump access
cover. (Picture 3)
Attention!
!
The access to the backup pump is only
done through the opening left by the
pump access cover.
Never put your hands between the
hopper / tipper and the City Ranger 3500.
