Installing the Cisco NCS 560-4 Router
Use the information in the DC Power Supply Specifications table to estimate the power requirements and heat
dissipation of a Cisco NCS560-4 Router based on a given configuration of the router. Determining power
requirements is useful for planning the power distribution system needed to support the router.
Power Connection Guidelines
This section provides guidelines for connecting the Cisco NCS 560-4 Router power supplies to the site power
source.

Never defeat the ground conductor or operate the equipment in the absence of a suitably installed ground

Guidelines for DC-Powered Systems
Basic guidelines for DC-powered systems include the following:
