Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the bottom cover
3.
Remove the battery
4.

When you replace the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from the
defective system board and install them on the replacement system board:

Remove the system board:
1.
Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the webcam/microphone module cable is connected, and disconnect
the cable from the system board.
2.
Remove the WWAN module shield.
3.
Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables (2) from the WLAN module terminals.
NOTE:
WLAN antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #2/Aux terminal.
4.
Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
Display panel cable ZIF connector cable (3)
Right speaker cable (4)
