Setting up the machine
> Select «Programmable functions» (1) on the sewing screen.

> Select the required function for the back kick.

Using the single stitch/securing function

With «Single stitch/securing», you can trigger the following functions:
• Pull the bobbin thread upward with a single stitch.
• Sew a programmed number of securing stitches.
Prerequisite:
> To pull the bobbin thread up with a single stitch, briefly tap the foot control with your heel.
> To sew the programmed number of securing stitches, press the foot control down longer with your heel.

The function will be programmed. With each back kick on the foot control, the selected function will
be carried out.
The back kick is programmed with «Single stitch/securing». (see page 25)
