3.4.6.1 From Normal to
Maintenance
bypass mode
The battery circuit breaker QF1 will automatically trip open if left in the
"ON" position when the UPS is placed in the Maintenance Bypass
mode.

Transferring the Load to Bypass Input From Inverter
On the diagnostics panel, press the "Security" key and hold
it while pressing the grey "Inverter OFF" pushbutton for 3
seconds.
Transferring the Load to Inverter From Bypass Input
On the diagnostics panel, press the "Security" key and hold
it while pressing the green "Inverter ON" pushbutton for 3
seconds.
This procedure assumes that the UPS is operating normally,
with the attached load supplied via the Inverter.
1. Stop the Inverter by pressing the grey "Inverter OFF"
pushbutton on the UPS front panel for approximately
three (3) seconds. The audible alarm will sound; silence
the alarm by pressing the "Buzzer Reset" pushbutton. If
the transfer conditions are not satisfied (bypass out of tol-
erance or other reason), a forced transfer will be
required. Refer to the "Forced Transfers" section for
more information.
2. Switch the battery circuit breaker QF1 to the "OFF"
position.
NOTE
3. Turn the manual bypass switch to the "TRANSFER"
position, then to the "BYPASS" position.
4. All indicating LEDs go off.
