Fitting the protective sleeve

CAUTION
Infection from contaminated protective
sleeve
Failure to replace the protective
sleeve for the handle can lead to
a transmission of illnesses.
Use a new protective sleeve for

the handle for each customer.
ATTENTION
Damage to drive caused by fluid
If fluid gets inside the drive or on
the  connection, this can corrode
the electrical and mechanical compo-
nents.
Always use one protective sleeve
E
(1) for the handle and a second
protective sleeve (2) for the drive
and connection cable as described
below.

In order to fit the protective sleeve (1)
on the handle:

already

the safety cartridge from the handle
(see chapter "5.5 Replacing the safety
cartridge" on page 43).
Slide
the
protective

completely over the connecting cable.

Insert the safety cartridge (3) through

the hole of the protective sleeve (1)
into the handle (see chapter "5.5
Replacing the safety cartridge" on
page 43).
