12. After securing the harnesses, pull all the slack out of the
harness straps by first pulling on the Pelvic Harness straps at
the lumbar end of the table until both harnesses are taut.
Pull on the tails of the straps to take up any remaining slack.
Taking out the slack ensures proper technique.
13. Use pillows, bolsters or the flexion stool as desired for
positioning.
14. Very Important: Excessive slippage and less effective
treatment can result if:
a. Harnesses are placed over clothing
b. Harnesses are not tight enough
c. Slack is not taken out of the harnesses prior to treatment
d. Harnesses are not positioned properly
