Description
Fan assembly
Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the bottom cover
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

1. Remove the speaker cable from the clips on the left side of the fan (1).
2. Remove display cable and the WLAN antenna cables from the clips on the right side of the fan (2).
3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (3).
4. Loosen the two Phillips captive screws (4) that secure the fan to the computer, and then remove the fan
from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan assembly.
