Melamine Anchor Instructions
When to use the Melamine Anchor:
• Always use the Melamine Anchor
with Melamine Screw between each
of the cams of the Cleats to attach
them to the wall.
How it is used:
• Using the Melamine Anchor Countersink on
a 5/16" drill bit, drill through the desired
location on the cleat far enough so the
countersink inserts 1/8" into the cleat.
• With a hammer, drive the red melamine
anchor through the cleat and into the wall
until it is flush or just below the surface of
the cleat.
• Insert and drill the screw until it is flush with
the cleat and continue to spin the screw until
the anchor "rosettes" up behind the wall.
• Apply the correct color Fast Caps over the
screw.
