    VideoNetBox, VideoNetBox Bank Login For the following service steps a login is required. This can be done locally directly on the recorder or over the network with the software NetConfig2. Local Login After the start (up to about 5 minutes) the recorder is ready for the local login. The back- ground image of the configuration screen is displayed.

    VideoNetBox, VideoNetBox Bank Licenses Certain properties and functions of the recorder are optional. They are only available if they were ordered when the system has been purchased. Properties and functions can generally also be licensed and activated retrospectively. It may be necessary to purchase some additional hardware together with an license code for this purpose.

    VideoNetBox, VideoNetBox Bank Update The recording software of the device can be updated if necessary.  Open the Software Update dialogue via System > Service > Software Update. Fig. 5-1 Load update file  Select the storage device as Source.

    VideoNetBox, VideoNetBox Bank System Parameters The configuration of the device is stored in parameter files. They can be reset to default settings as well as exported and imported. Default Parameters The original configuration of the device can be restored by resetting to default system pa- rameters.

    VideoNetBox, VideoNetBox Bank Hard Disk Drives The units of the VideoNetBox series can be operated with up to two hard disk drives.  Proceed as described below, to replace a defective hard disk drive. Identification The hard disk drives are accessible on the rear panel. First, the defective hard disk drive must be identified in the information dialogue.
