Changing/Topping-up hydraulic oil
1.
Place the jack on a horizontal, level surface. Check that the
jack has been lowered completely. If necessary, lower com-
pletely to end position.
2.
Remove the filler plug from the filler opening (4).
3.
Undo the safety valve (7) fully and completely drain the oil in
the jack into a container. Close the safety valve (7) again by
turning clockwise.
4.
Pour 50 cm³ high-quality hydraulic oil (SAE 10) into the
cylinder via the filler opening (4). Vent the cylinder as
described in the chapter "Venting". Place the filler plug back in
the housing.

Lubrication

Lubricate the moving parts and the lifting cylinder regularly to
ensure a secure function of the jack.

Venting

Air bubbles can get into the jack's hydraulic system after a longer
period of time and restrict its function.
The hydraulic cylinder can be vented in the following way:
1.
Remove the filler plug from the filler opening (4).
2.
Open the safety valve (7) by turning anti-clockwise lightly.
3.
Operate the pumping lever (2) a few times in order to press
any air out of the system.
4.
Close the safety valve and insert the filler plug.
The jack should now function easily and correctly. If necessary,
repeat the procedure.
