3. Follow the steps in the Compose New Fax wizard, selecting the fax number
of someone you know.
4. When you are finished filling out the pages in the Compose New Fax wizard,
click Finish.
The fax you just created will automatically be sent. The Microsoft Fax Status
screen appears (Figure 13), letting you know the progress of your fax
transmission.

Sending Facsimiles from other Applications

You can fax from applications other than Exchange and Outlook. Within any
application, on the File menu, choose Print. Select Microsoft Fax as your
printer. The Compose New Fax wizard starts automatically.
Alternatively, some applications contain a Send To option in the File menu.
Simply choose this option and the underlying Fax choice to start up the New Fax
wizard.
