Check IRQ, COM Port, and DMA Availability – ISA and
MicroChannel Only
In order to avoid common setup errors and conflicts, identify and note in the table
below which IRQ's, COM ports, and DMA's are not available by following these
steps.
1. Open your system's Control Panel folder and double-click System.
2. Click the Device Manager tab.
3. Double-click Computer.
4. Click the View Resources tab and select Interrupt Request (IRQ).
5. Note the numbers listed in the Setting column. These are the IRQ's that are
unavailable to WaveRunner. When setting up your WaveRunner adapter, be
sure not to use these IRQ's.
6. On the View Resources tab, click Input/Output(I/O).
