5.2 Hose connection from the vehicle
to "IN" on the gauging unit
The connection hose to the vehicle should be as short as possible so as
to prevent water from stopping in the hose during the gauging process
and falsifying the reading (pipe volume and dead volume). We recom-
mend a hose length of approximately 1 m.
CAUTION!
The volume of the connection hose must be measured and entered in the
ALI software configuration. This must be done each time the hose is
changed. The hose connecting the vehicle to the "IN" port on the gauging
unit must be consistently inclined at all times.
5.3

"Gauging unit" PC program

When the program starts up, the "ALI menu" application is started on the
System 3003 (if connected).
The buttons at the top left are for the connection to the gauging unit or
System 3003 if they were not connected when the program started up or
if they have lost the connection:
