Introduction

Thank you for choosing CertoClav! Since 50 years we stand for quality made in Austria.

The MultiControl 2 autoclave is equipped with electronic controls and a high precision
temperature sensor. It speeds up work in the laboratory and offers free choice of time and
temperature. It has a wide area of applications not only in sterilization, but also in quality
control and materials testing.
The basic version of the PC Software allows visualization and storing of your process data. It
is available for download on certoclav.com. The professional version of the software (Art.
8200210) additionally enables creation of programs with multiple steps of time and
temperature.
For documentation of the process you can also print out time and temperature by connecting
a CertoClav protocol printer (Art. 1300187) to the printer port.
The product has been manufactured using state of the art quality assurance processes. We
offer a 2-year warranty, except for consumables, e.g. gaskets. If you are running long term
cycles, the gaskets may wear out faster than usually and may need to be replaced already
after 6 months.
Discoloration and build-up of scale are a result of usage. We recommend using distilled
water to minimize buildup of scale.
CertoClav MultiControl 2 is a technical device and requires a certain amount of specific
knowledge to operate and achieve reliable results. Please read the instruction manual
carefully to learn about the usage and all options for operation.
