Never allow the pump to run dry of the fluid
being dispensed. A dry pump will quickly accel-
erate to a high speed, causing damage to the
pump. If the pump accelerates quickly or is run-
ning too fast, stop it immediately and check the
fluid supply. If the supply container is empty
and air has entered the system, prime the
pump with fluid.
The minimum flow rate generated by the pump
is 1.5 gpm (5.7 lpm). A new pump breaks in
over a period of time dependent on the level of
use. When the pump is completely broken in,
the flow rate generated by the pump may
increase to 1.6 - 1.7 gpm (6.1 - 6.4 lpm).
