6-5. The sewing operation (Refer to the figure on the following page)
It is very dangerous to operate the sewing machine without the safety guards(Eye guard,
Belt cover, Link cover, Finger guard etc.).
Please make sure to always operate the sewing machine with the safety guards.
Please do not put unnecessary articles except for the sewing operation on the table top.
Please keep the hands and the face away from the needle.

Turn the power switch (NO.1) ON.
(2)
Step on the black color foot switch (NO.4). The work holder (NO.2) comes down.
(3)
Turn on the RESET key on the teaching panel (NO.6). The work holder (NO.2) stands ready to
operate at the home position.
NOTE
Automatic standing mode can be selected by [HPC] (prohibition of the automatic
returning home function) setting to OFF.
But in this case, collision may be happened with the work holder (NO.2) and the
stepping foot (NO.3) depending on the work holder shape when the start set up is
prepared.

Program new sewing pattern or select desired sewing pattern
The sewing pattern programming can be performed with the teaching panel.

Set the sewing speed. This speed setting can be done with the speed set key (NO.7) of the
teaching panel.

Insert the sewing material under the work holder (NO.2) then, step on the black color foot
switch (NO.4). The work holder comes down to press the sewing material.
If the sewing material needs to be reset, step the black color foot switch (NO.4)
NOTE
again then, the work holder goes up to release the sewing material.

Step on the gray color start switch (NO.5). The sewing machine starts the sewing.
(8)
After finished the sewing, the work holder is lifted automatically then, the sewing material is
released.
