7-11. Adjustment of the bobbin winder

The amount of thread has already been adjusted so that thread can be wound round
approximately nine-tenths of the bobbin. If the amount is excessive or insufficient, adjust by
following method.
(1) Loosen the adjusting screw (NO. ) and nut (NO. ).
(2) Turn the adjusting screw (NO. )
To decrease the amount, turn clockwise.
To increase the amount, turn counterclockwise.
(3) After adjusting the amount of thread has been completed, tighten the nut to secure firmly.
If bobbin thread is wound unevenly,
(4) Loosen the screw (NO. )
(5) Move the bobbin winder thread guide (NO. ) forward and backward so that thread can be
wound evenly.

7-12. Adjustment of the work holder pressure

If the secondary side air pressure is set too high, trouble such as
operation faults may occur. Always set the pressure to within 390kPa.
The work holder presser is generated by air pressure.
Control the air pressure with the adjusting knob (NO. )
of the air regulator located underneath the table.
If turn the adjusting knob (NO. ) to the clockwise, the
air pressure is increased and the work holder pressure
is also increased simultaneously.
