Pre-installation ECdrive H Pre-installation The up-to-date drive drawing is applicable for the pre-installation work to be carried out. All components must be identified and installed in accordance with the drive drawing. 5. 1 Prepare profiles For length and preparation of drive profiles, see drive drawing. -

ECdrive H Pre-installation Connecting transformer and control unit Note earthing connection! Do not mix up cores! Strip the three-core cable (2), attach insulated wire-end ferrules and connect to cable (1) at the transformer (see wiring diagram). Lay cable (2) to the control unit. -

Pre-installation ECdrive H Lay rotary transducer cable (2) and motor connection cable (3) to the control unit. Insert the connector into the control unit. Do not plug rechargeable battery cable into the control unit yet. The rechargeable battery is not connected to the control until the production test and commissioning. -

Screw the retaining block (4) to the side plates (2) on the inside with 4.8 × 13 countersunk tapping screws (3).
- Page 12 Installation ECdrive H 6.2.4 Suspending the door leaves ATTeNTION! Danger of injury by broken glass! Always mount the door leaf together with another person. Loosen fastening bolt (2). Dismantle roller holder (1) with rollers. Secure bracket support (3) to the top edge of the door using the square nut (4) and screw (5).

Install fastening bolt and adjust height. Gap between bolt and running rail = 0.5 mm (cor- responds to about 4 sheets of copy paper).

The electrical system (230 V) may only be connected and disconnected by a professional electrician. Perform the power connection and equipment earth conductor test in accordance with VDE 0100 Part 610. -

Installation ECdrive H Swivel cover downwards and latch it into the stud screws (4). Place flat spring (5) over suspension clips (1): one in the middle and two on either side. Screw flat spring (5) with countersunk tap- ping screws (6). -

Tensioning the toothed belt See chapter 6.2.8. Maintenance check The mandatory maintenance work on the ECdrive H must be done by an expert: à at least once a year à when the service indicator on the programme switch lights up (see wiring diagram) Provide test documents and keep them up-to-date. -
