Input Water Quality

The quality of the input water is important as it influences the effectiveness
of the system and the safety of the water.
The input water should be from a potable cold-water source. Acuva purifiers
are effective for microbial (viruses, bacteria, and protozoa) disinfection and
a 5-micron filter is needed to remove particulate contamination from water.
Do not drink or use any water that is of unknown origin or that has not
undergone adequate treatment. A 5-micron carbon filter is recommended
and included for removal of bad taste and odor from the water.
Acuva's recommended requirements for the input water are listed in
