Care Centre. 2 – Basic Terminal Operations Before You Begin The US$Direct iCT250 is a point-of-sale electronic payment terminal designed to process debit and credit card transactions via an internet or standard dial connection. For setup instructions, refer to Section 17.
Global Payments. Do not try to use damaged equipment. Remove the items from the carton. You should have the following items, depending on what was ordered: A US$Direct iCT250 terminal with paper roll installed An external power supply Telephone cable and/or Ethernet cable ...
To power off the US$Direct iCT250, simply unplug the terminal from the electrical outlet. Terminal Keyboard The terminal keypad contains 10 numeric keys (0-9), an up/down scroll key, a green [Enter] key, a red [Cancel] key, a yellow [Correction] key, and a number of additional function keys. The exact number of additional function keys varies by terminal model.
Key Name NOTE: Throughout the Quick Reference Guide, to use the [▼] function, press the [F2] key. To use the [▲] function, press the [F3] key. Data Entry Numeric Data Entry The terminal keypad will automatically default to a numeric only keypad, when entering data into numeric-only fields, such as card number and amount prompts.

Before displaying the Admin menu, the terminal will prompt you to enter the Admin name and Admin password. Password Management The US$Direct iCT250 offers multi-level passwords which can be used for different purposes. You can set up a maximum of four levels of passwords.

Supervisor password Clerk password Any higher level password is accepted in the place of a lower level password. Example: If the application prompts for the Clerk password, then the Supervisor, Manager and Admin passwords will also be accepted. Administrator (Admin) Name And Password Your pre-set Admin name is 1, and your pre-set Admin password is 1234567P.

The Manager, Supervisor, and Clerk passwords are alphanumeric and 7 characters in length. The password can consist of any mix of alphabetic and/or numeric characters. Manager, Supervisor, and Clerk passwords cannot be locked out, and do not expire. Setting Up Your Passwords NOTE: Your default Admin name is 1, and pre-set Admin password is 1234567P.

12 – Clerk Settings The application allows you to track transactions by clerk. From the Clerk Menu, the user has the option to Add, Delete, or Print a Clerk ID list. Up to 100 clerks can be set up on the terminal. Add Clerk ID This option allows you to add a clerk up to 6 digits long.

Delete All Clerk IDs This option allows you to delete all previously entered clerks. The Clerk IDs can only be deleted if there are no pending (i.e. unsettled) transactions.
