6.3.7 Brazier cleaning
During normal operation in work mode, "BRAZIER CLEANING" is activated at set intervals. During
this time, the display will show the message "BRAZIER CLEANING", boiler ventilation increases
and the flame lowers in the brazier and in the MATIC models, with automatic cleaning, turbulator
cleaning is enabled. This operation is necessary to decrease the likelihood of ash accumulation
inside the brazier and flue gas pass, maintaining efficiency overtime.
If you notice an excessive accumulation of pellets or ash in the brazier (over half the level of
the brazier itself) or excessive accumulation of ash in the brazier turned off, immediately
switch off the boiler and clean the brazier. Promptly contact a support centre.
6.3.8 Shutdown
Termoboiler line boilers are been designed to run 24/7. However, the boiler may be switched off
any time by pressing button 4 for a few seconds.
Once the shutdown signal has been received, the display will show the "FINAL CLEANING"
message and the fume exhaust fan will continue to run at full speed for a minimum time of about 10
minutes to ensure complete cooling of the boiler. Additionally, as for the brazier cleaning, the
mechanical cleaning of the flue gas pass and brazier is activated (in the models where provided.)
CAUTION: Never disconnect the power supply at this stage, as this may create problems for
the boiler and compromise the subsequent phases of ignition.
6.3.9 Interruption of power supply
In the event of a brief interruption in the power supply (under 10 seconds), the stove will
automatically re-start without any alarms.
If power is lost for a longer time and the boiler was in work mode, the standby mode is activated
and the boiler will start automatically. If lack of power occurs during the ignition phase, an "AL 1 -
BLACK OUT" alarm will be generated. The boiler will therefore not start back up automatically, but
first the alarm will need to be manually removed.
