Flooring protection

In the event of valuable flooring or flooring that is sensitive to heat, moisture or is flammable, a floor
protection must be used (e.g. sheet steel, marble or tile slabs).
Whichever type of protection selected, it must protrude at least 300 mm from the front and at least
150 mm from the sides of the boiler, withstand the weight of the boiler and have a thickness of at
least 2 mm (fig. 6 and 7).

Minimum distances for positioning air intake vents

Pellet boiler combustion air intake vents cannot be connected to an air distribution system
or directly to a wall-mounted air intake vent.
Correct and safe positioning of the air intake vent must comply with the measures and
requirements described in paragraph 1.3.
There are distances to be respected in order to avoid that combustion air be removed by another
source; for example, a window opening can suck the air outside, making it miss the boiler.
The air intake vent must be located at least
