REPROCESSING

The product components must be cleaned thoroughly immedi-
ately after each application and disinfected at least once a
week. In the case of an acute infection, disinfection must be
carried out every day.
When used by high-risk groups (e.g., patients with cystic
fibrosis), the components must be disinfected at least once a
day.
If the nebuliser is used in professional environments, follow
the information on reprocessing included in the appendix at the
end of these instructions for use.

4.1 Preparation

• Pull the two tubes and the adapter off the nebuliser.
• Make sure that all residual volume is removed from the
nebuliser.
• Detach the adapter from the tube.
• Dismantle the nebuliser into its individual parts.

4.2 Cleaning

The PARI SINUS tubing system cannot be cleaned or disin-
fected. Regarding care of the tubing system, follow the in-
structions in the corresponding section [see: Care of the
PARI SINUS tubing system, page 23].
• Briefly rinse all parts used in running drinking water
beforehand.
• Place all disassembled com-
ponents in warm drinking water
with a little dishwashing liquid
for about 5 min.
• Rinse off all parts thoroughly in drinking water.
• Shake the water out of all of the parts.
