Adjusting the position of the sprayer tip

Requirements:
• Solvent composition affects the optimal capillary voltage. Infuse an
optimization solution of the same solvent composition as the point in the
gradient at which your analytes will elute. For example, if the majority
of analytes elute at 25% organic solvent, use an optimization solution of
25% organic solvent.
• The nanoflow gas pressure must be high enough to initiate a spray
(typically 0.2 bar).
• The capillary voltage must be high enough to maintain a serviceable
spray.
Notice:
capillary voltage to the emitter unless solvent is flowing to the
iKey separation device. Doing otherwise raises the optimal
electrospray potential and limits the lifetime of the emitter.
