The sta�iliser co�trols are o� the �pper left si�e of
the platform co�trol �ox. The sta�ilisers are �se�
to level the S3970RT / S3370RT / S2770RT (for
complete sta�iliser operati�g proce��res see the
Operatio� chapter 8).
NOTE
The S3970RT/ S3370RT/ S2770RT must be on a
firm surface capable of withstanding all load forces
imposed by the aerial platform in all operation
conditions before the stabilisers are used.
■ ■ Rough Terrain Scissor Interlock Tests
All S�orkel scissor lifts i� the S�orkel 'SRT, SR a��
S/RT Series are fitte� with a ver� importa�t safet�
feat�re, a 'Sta�iliser/axle/scissor I�terlock' s�stem
that preve�ts the sta�ilisers �ei�g move� while
the platform is elevate�, a�� preve�ts the platform
�ei�g raise� if the rear axle is oscillate� a�� the
sta�ilisers are �ot set or the machi�e is tilte�.

The correct operation of the Stabiliser/
scissor Interlock is critical to ensure that the
Scissor is operated safely and with minimum
risk.
Detailed instructions on how to carry out the
tests to ensure that these functions are working
correctly are provided at the beginning of the Pre-
Operational Inspection chapter in this manual.

Enable switch

with the platform movi�g f��ctio� �o� select. The
p�rpose of this switch is to preve�t the platform
from movi�g if somethi�g or someo�e acci�e�tall�
p�shes o�e of the platform movi�g co�trols.

The RCD (Resi��al C�rre�t Device) is locate� at
the gro��� a�� will protect agai�st short circ�its
to earth. Whe� there is a short circ�it the RCD
will sh�t �ow� the 230v AC power to the platform
o�tlet. To reset the o�tlet �isco��ect the power tool
lea� from the platform �ox a�� reset the RCD at
the gro���. If the pro�lem persists call a trai�e�
service tech�icia�.
