3.2 Distinction characteristics of product versions

The product is manufactured in two versions:
• Version – non-IFA tested
• Version – IFA tested
The standard version of the product is IFA tested.
This means the product fulfils the requirements of DIN EN ISO 15012-1 for welding
fume separation class W3. Adherence to this standard is tested by the IFA (Institute
for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance).
For the sake of simplification, in this operation manual this is indicated in the
following with an IFA notice logo
The IFA notice logo highlights important notes and information relating to the IFA
product.
Labelling on product
IFA
The IFA version is labelled, on the product, with the DGUV test symbol and a W3 label
(identification of the welding fume class).
