Problem
Sprayer makes sound but
no material is sprayed
when Sprayer Trigger is
pulled
Sprayer sprays with poor
coverage
Sprayer runs
intermittently or very slow

Cause
Sprayer is not primed.
Prime Pump/Spray knob is in PRIME
PUMP position.
Spray Tip is not in SPRAY position.
Pump Filter plugged.
Speed Control is set too low.
No or low material in material cup.
Pump has reached the end of its life. Replace pump assembly.
Diagnostic Light blinks four times
when the Sprayer Trigger is pulled.
Indicates a locked rotor condition.
Spray Tip is not in correct position
Spray Tip is worn or damaged
Pump has reached the end of its life. Replace pump assembly.
Disinfectant has gotten into the
sprayer.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Prime the pump. See Pressure
Relief Procedure, page 10.
Make certain there is only one
FlexLiner in the Cup Support.
Make certain the Cup Lid is
properly threaded to the Cup
Support. If threads are visible
below the Cup Lid when tight,
fully remove and reinstall to the
Cup Support so no threads are
visible when tight.
Make certain the Cup Lid is
tightened to Cup Support so the
arrow on Cup Lid is within range
of indicator on Cup Support.
Make certain the cup assembly is
properly locked on the sprayer.
Make certain all the air is out of
the FlexLiner and the VacuValve
is properly closed.
Clean VacuValve Reservoir and
air hole. See Cleaning
VacuValve, page 22.
Clean sprayer. See Cleanup
and Storage, page 19.
Turn Prime Pump/Spray knob
forward to SPRAY position.
Turn Spray Tip to SPRAY
position.
Clean Pump Filter.
Increase speed until unit sprays.
Refill FlexLiner with material and
prime the pump. See Refilling
FlexLiner, page 18.
Replace pump assembly and
enclosure/SmartControl
assembly.
Rotate Spray Tip to SPRAY
position.
Replace Spray Tip. See Choose
Your Spray Tip, page 15.
Allow the sprayer to dry out.
Replace pump assembly and
enclosure/SmartControl
assembly.
