Troubleshooting

If you think something is wrong with the unit, check the information below and refer to the
[FAQ] for the DJM-V10 at the URL below.

• Inspect devices connected with the unit.
• The unit may restore proper operation after you turn it off and on.
If the problems continue, read the "Precautions for Use" and consult your nearest Pioneer DJ
authorized service center or your dealer.
Power
 You cannot turn the unit on.
• Check if the power cord is properly connected to the unit and an AC outlet.
Audio output
 Sound is not outputting or the volume is low.
• Check the input selector switches are set properly.
• Check all cables are connected properly.
• Wipe any dust or dirt off the terminals and plugs before connecting them.
• Change the [ATT.] setting in [MASTER OUT] in the [UTILITY] settings.
 The unit does not output the digital sound.
• Make sure the specified [SAMPLING RATE] setting of [DIGITAL MASTER OUT] in the
[UTILITY] settings is supported by the connected devices.
 Sound is distorted.
For the master sound:
• Adjust the [LEVEL] knob in the [MASTER] section so the master level indicator lights up
with the peak level at around [0] dB.
