8 Wi-Fi Connection

WiFi Connection
To connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to a host.
1. Connect the device to the host using the USB port. Browse the drive "SCANNDY" and search for the
file *.sfl.
2. Open the file *.sfl and make sure the output mode is set to Wi-Fi.
Example for Wi-Fi output:

3. Save the settings that have been made and open the file "config.ini" to verify general Wi-Fi settings.

Wpapsk=
Mode=2

For further information please refer to the "config.ini" reference guide.
4. Save the settings and disconnect the device from the PC.
5. The right LED (2) flashes blue every second for the time the device is trying to connect to the
wireless network and to the host.
6. The right LED (2) flashes blue every 5 seconds for the time the device is connected.
The Wi-Fi configuration can be seen in the device system menu alternatively. Read the system menu
description for Wi-Fi settings in Menu Item „Wi-Fi" (see page 20).
