4.8 Setting the pitch angle on the precisi-

Prerequisites:

The DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) has been aligned
using the spirit level for the pitch angle and the spi-
rit level for the roll angle (see sec. 4.5).
R
The precision measuring bar must be inserted into
the mounts.
1. Loosen the hex socket head cap screw (Abb. 26,
item 2) on the mount for the precision measuring
bar.
2. Align the spirit level for the pitch angle on the preci-
sion measuring bar by precision adjustment on the
profile (Abb. 26, item 1).
 The spirit level for the pitch angle on the pre-
cision measuring bar (Abb. 26, item 3) must
match the spirit level for the pitch angle on the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) (Abb. 11, item 1).

3. Tighten the hex socket head cap screw (Abb. 26,
item 2) at 5 Nm.
4. Use sealing wax to mark the hex socket head cap
screw.

Prerequisites:
R
The DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) has been aligned
using the spirit level for the pitch angle and the spi-
rit level for the roll angle (see sec. 4.5).
R
The SCT 141x has been aligned using the spirit level
for the pitch angle (see sec. 4.8).
R
The precision measuring bar must be inserted into
the mounts.
1. Move SCT 141x into the lowest position.
2. Attach the reference boards (Abb. 27, item 1) on
the left and right of the adjustment bar and use the
spirit levels (Abb. 27, item 4) to align them.

3. Attach the P-Assist S5 to laser mount B and secure it
with the arrestor cable of the L -bracket.
4. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
 The laser beam marks the reference boards.
