Before use

Wipe the stick mixer with a damp cloth before use.
The stick mixer can be used for mixing, whisking and chopping quickly and
simply. Perfect for purées, soups, dressings, baby food, milkshakes and sauces,
for whipping cream or chopping nuts, etc.
The stick mixer should be used in the container provided, but can also be used
in bowls, pots or pans. If you use it with another bowl or vessel, you should be
careful to avoid splashes. If you intend to use it directly in pans, remove them
from the stove so that the mixer is not exposed to high temperatures (max. 75-
80°C) from the hot base of the saucepan.

Use
Attach the removable mixer shaft to the motor unit by firmly turning the mixer
shaft anti-clockwise onto the motor unit until it is securely attached. Plug the
appliance in. Make sure the cord does not get in the way.
Immerse the stick mixer into the ingredients before starting it to avoid
splashing. Press the power switch and carefully move the stick mixer up and
along the sides of the bowl in rotating movements. The speed can then be
continuously adjusted by turning the speed control at the top of the motor
section. Press the turbo button if you temporarily want a higher speed.
Press and hold the button in intervals of around 10 seconds. Release the
button briefly and start again. When you release the power switch or turbo
button, the motor stops immediately. Repeat until you achieve the required
consistency.
As the stick mixer works quickly, most ingredients are ready in under a minute,
so it is a good idea to work in short intervals, especially initially when you are
not used to working with the stick mixer.
