Fan - The rear fan only comes On (Figure 3-21) when either thermsitor (TH501 @ IC501/pin 47 or TH on the
digital board) senses the backlight or digital board is hot.

Access and Independent Power
1. Access the backlight by removing the 51-pin front panel ribbon cable (Figure 3-22). Lift up the black part of the
connector to free the cable.
2. Power the backlight by applying external 9Vdc voltage to two points. Refer to Figure 3-23 and Figure 3-24.

Ground at HV backlight CN200/pin 2
