Checking back IN the music from the MGMemoryStick
You can return the song from the memory stick back to the hard drive by checking it back IN.
1. Apply power to Red and Yellow wires.
2. Press the R knob repeatedly to bypass
the 10kHz AM spacing and time/date.
3. Open the front panel (press Open) and
insert the
containing song(s).
4. Press the R button for a list of inputs
and rotate to select "Memory Stick®" from
the list. Press the R button to enter.
5. Rotate the R knob to "Check In" and&
press.
6. All tracks are selected. De-select the
tracks you want by pressing the R knob to
uncheck a song / track.
7. Press F2 button (Enter) to check the
songs back into the hard drive.
Layout
The five plug-in boards are shown in Figure 4-4, forming three layers. The bottom layer also contains the hard
drive (not shown) surrounded by the U shaped servo board. The layer above is the main board with power
supply board plugged into it). The main board can be removed after the left side faceplate mechanism is
loosened for clearance. If you remove the mechanism, match the holes in the largest gear to their holes on the
chassis. The CD player is above main board. The disassembly is shown in Figures 4-4 to 4-6.

tracks & use R to select.)
Display shows a bar representing the
move back in to the hard drive.
