Selecting a Playback Source
1. Apply +12Vdc to the Red and Yellow wires or pins 7 and 18 of the rear connector. Figures 3-18 and 3-19 are
repeated from the previous MEX-5Di section.

2. Repeatedly press the R knob to bypass the: AM station 9/10k spacing, time and date.
3. There are two ways to get to a source: a) Press the R knob one more time to reveal all the sources. [Pressing
the Source button reveals only the active sources, one at a time.] b) Press the Source button and stop when
you find the one you want. Note: Sources will not be displayed if their contents are empty.
4. Press the R knob to display the source contents. As the contents are displayed, the first song is played.
Note: Sources will not PB if their contents are empty.
