Manually removing the CD
In the event of a power failure or damage to the drive it may be necessary to manually remove the
CD/DVD.
Switch off your system unit.
Using a thick wire, firmly press the button for manual ejection (e. g. a large paper clip).
The drive tray is unlocked and can be opened.
Maintenance and transportation
The CD/DVD must be removed and the drive tray must be closed when the DVD drive is
!
transported.
Do not discard the original packing material of the DVD drive. Keep it for future
transportation.
Transport the DVD drive only in its original packaging or another corresponding packaging
to protect it from impacts, shock and static discharge.
The DVD drive must be opened by authorized service personnel only. Inappropriately
opening the drive can be hazardous for the eyes!
