5.1.24 Why does my phone fail to access the Internet after it is
connected to a private Wi-Fi hotspot?

When another device serves as a hotspot and your phone fails to access to the Internet,
you can check whether the device serving as the hotspot can successfully access the
Internet or whether other phones can successfully access the Internet.

Set the Wi-Fi channel to channel 11 to avoid interference from other devices.

If the problem persists, restart your phone or the device serving as the hotspot.
5.1.25 Why does the network speed become slow after my phone
is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot?

Check whether other devices are using the network at the same time, for example, using
Huawei MediaQ to watch TV or using the laptop to download movies. If yes, properly
arrange the network resources.

Test the Wi-Fi rate using the SpeedTest software.

Use your phone near the router. Otherwise, the retransmission of lost packets decreases
the network speed.

Don't touch the top part of the phone, especially the Wi-Fi antenna part near the volume
buttons.

Make sure your phone's protective cover is made of plastics or leather instead of metal,
because the metallic protective cover blocks your phone's antenna signals.
5.1.26 Why does my phone keep disconnecting and then
reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network?
After successfully connecting to a Wi-Fi network, keep the phone within range of the Wi-Fi
hotspot to avoid losing the connection due to a weak signal.
Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings page, select Advanced and then set Keep Wi-Fi on during
sleep to Always. The phone will always stay connected to the Wi-Fi network.
