To make Developer options appear in Settings, go to Settings, touch About phone and touch
Build number seven times in rapid succession.

Stay awake: Prevents the screen from turning off when your phone is charging.
Allow mock location app: Allows the phone to use the mock locations function.
Desktop backup password: Allows you to set a backup password.

3.13 How do I adjust the screen brightness?
On the home screen, go to Settings. Touch Display then Brightness level. Select Adaptive
brightness or manually adjust the Brightness level slider.
In the notification panel, drag the brightness slider left or right to adjust the brightness.
