5.10 What microSD card file systems does the Huawei
Mate 8 support?
The Huawei Mate 8 supports FAT32 and exFAT, but not NTFS. The phone also supports ultra
high speed (UHS) microSD cards. It is recommended that you use an UHS microSD card for
a better user experience.
5.11 Why does the phone show that Wi-Fi is still
consuming power after I turned it off?
Reason 1:
This is an error in Google Android 6.0's detection of Wi-Fi power consumption. Wi-Fi is not
consuming any power, and will not affect the phone's battery life. Please rest assured. You
may further reduce power consumption by turning off Wi-Fi scanning through Settings >
Advanced settings > Location access > Menu > Scan settings > Wi-Fi scanning, as shown
below.
Issue 01 (2016-01-27)
The Huawei Mate 8 uses the Android 6.0 system. To provide a more secure and better
user experience, the Huawei Mate 8 doesn't allow applications to be installed on the
microSD card.
Except for the ability to install applications, the microSD card can be used exactly the
same way as before.
